Which way should the mattress be?

The most important aspect of a hotel stay, has to be the quality of the bed, sadly it is one of the most neglected.

Hotels spend a lot of money developing mattresses with some of the best known names,  however all this development is wasted when hotels don't play their part. 

Hotel mattresses are subject to a huge amount of wear, tear and action! To allow the springs to rest, the mattress must be turned every 3 months. Manufacturers know better than anyone how to look after their mattresses this and even fix labels to them. 

At this flagship hotel on Orchard Road in Singapore, it is clear that someone forgot to read the mattress instructions.
